1. Services Offered & Professional Standards
JoeBABA Notary provides mobile and stationary public notary services, apostille processing, consulate authentications, loan signings, and translation assistance across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area.
    • Identity Verification Requirement: In compliance with California notary law, signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license or passport) at the time of service.
    • No Legal Advice: Joe Huang and representatives of JoeBABA Notary are not attorneys. We do not offer legal advice, draft legal documents, or determine the legal sufficiency or intent of any document being notarized. Clients are solely responsible for verifying document requirements with their legal counsel or receiving agencies.

2. Appointments, Travel Fees, and Cancellations
    • Service Locations: We accommodate bookings at our physical location (705 Monterey Blvd., San Francisco, CA 94127) as well as mobile services throughout our designated Bay Area coverage zones.
    • Travel & Mobile Fees: Mobile service appointments are subject to a travel fee, which will be disclosed during booking. Travel fees are earned at the time the notary departs for the assignment and are non-refundable if the notarization cannot be completed due to client error, missing identification, or unready documentation.

3. Text Messaging & Communication Disclosures (A2P 10DLC Compliance)
By providing your phone number and giving explicit verbal or written consent during booking or inquiries, you agree to receive automated notifications, appointment confirmations, booking status updates, and customer support texts from JoeBABA Notary.
    • Consent Protocol: SMS text messaging consent is gathered directly from end users via an explicit website form or oral consent recorded during phone consultations or in-person meetings.
    • Carrier Terms & Rates: Message frequency varies based on your active service bookings. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
    • Opt-Out & Support: You can cancel or revoke your text message consent at any any time. To unsubscribe, simply reply STOP to any text message received from us. For assistance or questions regarding text notifications, reply HELP or call us directly at (415) 223-0488.

4. Privacy and Data Security
Your submission of personal details through our website is governed by our Privacy Policy. We maintain strict security protocols regarding data handling. In alignment with mobile carrier safety constraints, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent details will never be shared, sold, or rented to any third parties, affiliates, or external marketing partners. 
5. Limitation of Liability
JoeBABA Notary and its representatives perform notarial duties to the best of their professional capabilities and in accordance with state guidelines. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from a processing delay by government authentication offices (such as the Secretary of State for Apostilles) or from rejected documents due to external agency rules.
